a mental health space designed to challenge norms & redefine wellness

Hi, I’m Ravin

I spent the majority of my life trying to survive inside systems that told me I was both too much and not enough at the same time . I was working so hard to heal, to grow, to build a meaningful life but kept coming across “wellness” spaces that just left me feeling more confused, more ashamed, and more disconnected from myself. The advice was endless: be more disciplined, be more positive, try harder, control your emotions, make yourself smaller…. but no matter how hard I tried, I kept feeling like I was failing at being human.

Eventually, I realized something changed everything: what I had been told was my “brokenness” was actually my nervous system pushing back against spaces that weren’t built for me…and for too many others. Most healing and wellness models are rooted in conformity, productivity, disconnection and oppression. They ask us to shrink, override our bodies, and pathologize our pain instead of understanding it in the larger context. Modern “wellness” aims to simplify what is deeply complex; it turns adaptation and survival into a personal flaw. Once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it…and felt called to do something about it.

So, I created Aulak Wellness Collective. I wanted to build a space that didn’t require people to cut off parts of themselves. A space that honours the reality of trauma, neurodivergence, systemic harm, and all of the complexities that come with being human. We don’t pretend to have everything figured out because we deeply believe that healing isn’t a perfection project.

This is a space where we don’t treat people as “problems to fix.” Instead, we explore what we needed, what we learned to survive, and what it might feel like to feel safe inc connection — to ourselves, and to others. We define “wellness” as learning how to feel seen, exist, connect, and care for yourself in a world that wasn’t designed with your nervous system, your body, or your history in mind. And we’re so glad you’re here.

What we do.

  • We offer virtual sessions across Canada for individual, relationship & group therapy.

Therapy is a space where you can explore your inner world, unpack relationship dynamics, and make sense of sociopolitical elements that impact your sense of connection and well-being.

  • For therapists, health practitioners, and leaders who want to create more relational, equitable spaces—starting from the inside out.

We offer consultation and development support to help in navigating relationship dynamics, building healthier organizational culture & working towards decolonizing practices. Whether you're leading a team or looking to shift how you work as a clinician, we are are to help you explore where you may be feeling stuck while providing tangible accessible tools you can implement right away.

  • In a world full of noise, information overload, and gatekeeping, we believe education should be accessible, nuanced, and rooted in relationship—not expert culture.

We work with organizations to develop workshops, public speaking events and resources that invite reflection, conversation, and learning together. Our approach recognizes that knowledge grows through through collaboration and care instead of perfection and rigid expectations.

  • Therapy isn’t accessible to everyone—and it’s not the only path to healing.

We offer self-directed resources like webinars, workbooks, and worksheets to support reflection and growth outside of traditional therapy spaces. These tools are designed to be affordable, flexible, and grounded in the belief that healing should be as barrier-free as possible.
